Wow, can you believe how time has flown by? Blink twice and June and July are already in the rearview mirror! It feels like just yesterday it was the end of May, and I had successfully wrapped up the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate over on Coursera. But that was only the beginning - I eagerly jumped into the world of preparing for the CompTIA Security exam.
Now, let's talk about June. Oh boy, did that month have its hands full! With the fiscal year winding down and the new one revving up, work became a whirlwind of activity for me. Admittedly, amidst the hustle and bustle, my study routine hit a bit of a snag. Who can blame me? After a long day glued to a computer screen at the office, the last thing you want is to rush home only to find yourself glued to another screen, pouring over study materials. The struggle was real, folks!
But then, there came July, and it brought the promise of fun and adventure! My better half and I decided to ditch the daily grind for a little while and embarked on an escapade. Our destination? The vibrant city of Vancouver, BC. Four glorious days spent downtown, soaking up the sights and sounds, and let's not forget the incredible food! Our agenda was jam-packed: the legendary Capilano Suspension Bridge, a jaunt to the bottom of Grouse Mountain (the view from the top was simply mind-blowing!), and a ferry ride to Victoria to bask in the beauty of Butchart Gardens. Downtown Victoria didn't disappoint either, showcasing its own unique charm.
But that wasn't all, folks. Brace yourselves for this one. We set sail aboard the fabulous Holland America’s Konnigsdam for a mesmerizing 7-day Alaskan cruise. The magic of Juneau, the allure of Skagway, the awe-inspiring Glacier Bay, and the captivating Ketchikan - we drank it all in. The experience was so incredible that we're already plotting to make a return voyage a decade down the line. Yep, you heard that right!
Now, fast forward to August. Work mode is back on, but hey, so is my determination to conquer the CompTIA Security exam! The goal? To walk into that exam room feeling like a cybersecurity superhero. And guess what? I'm not just about acing exams; I'm also committed to sharing my projects and insights right here with you. Linear regression, anyone? It's all in the pipeline! Data joke intended.
